Very hard to find, nice early edition of the worlds best selling book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Published by Bloomsbury of London and printed by Clays St. Ives Plc. with cover illustrations by Thomas Taylor. The book looks and could be unread! Just a small amount of sun fade to the spine of the jacket. This early edition is, as expected, attributed to JOANNE Rowling rather than the later editions with J.K. Rowling showing to the publication page. The wizard on the reverse is a Young Dumbledore unlike later editions that show an older grey haired wizard. This is a 13th print book and is dated 1997. Not as rare as the true 1st printing but not £20,000.00 either! Another fabulous book that could be the pride of your collection!
